A scanner fed the sheets in the wrong order. Two files were merged back to front. The cover page ended up in the middle. The pages are all there, they are just in the wrong places.

You can reorder PDF pages free in your browser: move pages around, delete the ones you do not want, turn a sideways page upright, and download the corrected file. Your original is never changed.

What is a reorder PDF pages tool?

It is a page organiser. Instead of editing the text inside your document, it changes the order the pages appear in, then writes a new PDF.

The pages themselves are copied across untouched, so text stays selectable, images keep their quality, and nothing is re-rendered. Only the sequence changes.

That is a different job from merging two files or splitting one into several. Here you keep one document and fix the running order inside it.

How to reorder PDF pages free, step by step

1. Upload your PDF. Drag it onto the box, click Choose PDF, or pull it from Google Drive, Dropbox or OneDrive.
2. Wait for the thumbnails. Your pages are drawn in your own browser, so a long document takes a few seconds. Nothing is sent to us at this point.
3. Drag pages into order. Pick up a page and drop it in its new place. To move several at once, click each one (or Shift+click for a run) and use Move Left and Move Right.
4. Delete anything you do not want. Select the page and press Delete. It stays out of the new file.
5. Rotate a sideways page. Select it and press Rotate 90°, as many times as it takes.
6. Check the order. The Changes panel lists everything you have done so far, and the magnifier button opens any page full size.
7. Save and download. Press Save New Order & Download and keep the new file.

Prefer not to drag at all? Type the sequence you want into the New page order box, for example 3, 1, 2, 4-6, and press Apply. Any page you leave out of that list is dropped from the new file.
