Reorder PDF Pages lets you rearrange the pages of a document visually — drag page thumbnails into the sequence you want, then save. It's ideal for fixing scans that came out of order, or restructuring a report before sharing it.
It is a reorder PDF pages free tool in the plain sense: there is no account, no watermark and no trial. You can open up to 20 PDFs at once, and while you are in there you can also delete a page you no longer need or turn a sideways one, so one pass gives you the document you actually wanted.
Your pages are drawn in your own browser while you arrange them, so nothing is uploaded until you press save. The file you then send us is processed over a secure connection, made available for download, and automatically deleted a short time later.
Upload the PDF you want to rearrange.
Drag page thumbnails into a new order — or delete and turn pages as you go.
Click "Save New Order & Download".
Download your reordered PDF.
After uploading, you'll see thumbnails of each page in the document. Simply drag them into the order you want — the grid updates live as you go, so you can always see the current sequence before saving.
Tip: You can drag pages one at a time, or tick several pages and drag one of them to move the whole group together.
The output is a new PDF with your pages in the sequence you set — plus any deletions or turns you made along the way. Your original file is never changed — reordering always reads it, never edits it.
If you opened several PDFs, each one is saved separately and the set comes back as a ZIP. You can also ask for one PDF per page instead, numbered by its new place in the order.
| Tool | What it does | Best for |
|---|---|---|
| Reorder Pages | Changes the sequence of pages within the same document — every page stays, just in a new order. | Fixing a document that was scanned or assembled out of sequence. |
| Extract Pages | Creates a new PDF with only the pages you select; the original stays unchanged. | Pulling a handful of specific pages out of a large document. |
| Split PDF | Breaks a PDF into multiple separate files, usually one per page or range. | Dividing a whole document into many smaller files. |
Pages sometimes end up scanned or assembled out of sequence. Reordering lets you fix the page sequence visually, by dragging thumbnails, instead of re-scanning or rebuilding the document.
Solution: You can leave pages exactly where they are — only the pages you move change place. If a page should go altogether, tick it and press Delete in the toolbar, or use Delete PDF Pages for a document you only want to trim.
Solution: Use the Move Left and Move Right buttons instead, or type the whole order into the New page order box and press Apply. Both do exactly what dragging does.
Solution: Ensure your file is under 50 MB and is a valid PDF. Try a different browser, or compress the file first with our Compress PDF tool.
