What Is This Tool?
Text to PDF reads a plain-text (.txt) file and lays it out as a proper multi-page PDF. Each line of your file becomes a line in the PDF; lines that are wider than the page are wrapped at word boundaries, and blank lines are preserved so paragraphs stay separated. You choose the page size and one of three font sizes.
The output uses a standard sans-serif font and is best suited to Latin-script text such as English and most European languages. Characters the standard font cannot represent (for example emoji or scripts like Chinese, Arabic or Devanagari) are replaced with a question mark, so this is not the right tool for those languages.

- Tabs are converted to four spaces

Troubleshooting
Problem: Some characters show as "?"
Solution: The standard PDF font only covers Latin-script characters. Emoji and non-Latin scripts (Chinese, Arabic, Hindi and so on) are replaced with a question mark. This tool is not suitable for those languages.
Problem: My lines wrapped in odd places
Solution: Wrapping happens at spaces to fit the page width. Choose a smaller font, or use Letter/A4 to get a slightly different width, so lines break where you expect.
Problem: "Only plain-text .txt files are supported"
Solution: The tool accepts .txt (and .text) files. Rename or export your file to .txt first — Word, RTF, and Markdown files are not supported here.
Problem: "This text file is too long"
Solution: There is a limit of about 800,000 characters. Split the file into parts and convert each one, then combine with Merge PDF.
